Sporty in Stripes

I recently got this baseball tee from J. Crew Factory and have gotten so much use out of it! It's so comfy and matches practically everything, so it's easy to dress it up or dress it down. Today I turned this sporty tee into a more girly look, while still keeping it casual.

See how I styled this tee for a baseball game earlier this month here!

This is a collaboration with Meg from A Sunny State of Mind, so make sure to go check out her blog to see how she styled her baseball tee!

Lighthouse

During out trip to Hilton Head Island, my parents and I went to a lunch on the water at the Quarterdeck under the lighthouse. The food was great and the view of the water made it such an enjoyable experience!

Seersucker & Pineapples

I changed into this casual outfit after a long day on the beach to go for dinner and mini golfing! We went to Reilley's Grill and Bar on Hilton head Island where I had the best chicken pot pie I have ever had! After that, we went mini golfing and being the avid golfers we are, opted for the difficult course. Big mistake! It was nearly impossible to get it in the hole, but we still had a fun time hitting some crazy shots.

My golf ball matched my shorts, so obviously I took a picture!

Vineyard Vines Dockside

My family went to dinner at Hudson's the other night on Hilton Head Island where we had great fresh seafood and hushpuppies that were to die for (not to mention the mud pie we had for dessert)! The restaurant had a great view of Skull Creek, until it started storming right after these pictures were taken.

Salty Dog

During our visit to Hilton Head Island, my family and I stopped for lunch at The Salty Dog Cafe on the marina. It was the perfect start to our vacation as we sat out on the porch overlooking the water! They had lots of fresh seafood to offer (but of course I ended up getting chicken tenders and fries because what else do I get). I chose this light shirt and shorts to keep cool for my day on the water.

Jewel Tee

Today I paired this J. Crew inspired jewel tee I found at Marshall's with these white shorts I scored at J. Crew for only $25!! I liked the way mixing patterns worked out for this outfit, with the jewels on the tee and the checker and floral patterns on the shorts.

Dinner at Pinehurst

Wore this Lilly shift dress that I got on major sale to dinner at the clubhouse in Pinehurst!

Fourth of July

My casual outfit for watching fireworks, playing with sparklers and spending time with family yesterday to celebrate the Fourth of July!

Later in the evening, my friends and I tried to photograph writing with sparklers using The College Prepster's tutorial. They didn't turn out as good as we had planned, but it was still fun doing it!

Hope you had a great Fourth of July!
