Quail Hollow

Last Saturday my friend from the golf team and I went to the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow. It was the perfect day to go and I (finally) got a little bit of a tan. Going to the tournament is something I look forward to every year and, as a golfer, it is always so fun to watch. The course is always in great condition and it's so cool to see all of the amazing houses that line each hole. It was especially cool to follow Rory and see him break the course record! I remember I met him years ago at the tournament and he went on to win it the next day, making it his first win on the PGA tour. Here are a few pictures I snapped with my phone.

Did any of you go to the tournament or watch it on television?

Seersucker Bow Skirt

It finally feels like summer, so I'm breaking out the seersucker and sleeveless shirts. This bow on this skirt from Caroline Dawn is so fun and  unlike any other skirt I own. The light blue seersucker is perfect for summer and is so lightweight. When I ordered this Kiel James Patrick shirt, I knew it would look perfect with the skirt and was counting down the days until it arrived on my doorstep. I paired it with a simple pearl bracelet and Jack Rogers that make it a perfect outfit for a lunch outside or a day by the lake!

Note: This skirt runs a bit small and short, I would recommend sizing up.

Prom 2015

What do you know, another navy outfit (are you even surprised?). This past weekend I attended my Junior prom and had so much fun getting dressed up and going uptown for the night with my friends.   For dinner we went to BLT Steakhouse at the Ritz in Charlotte and it was so good (especially the popovers the size of my head)!
I found this dress on sale at Neiman Marcus a while back and love simple design and full skirt - not to mention it has pockets! The dress ended up being a little short on me, but wearing flat sandals actually turned out to be a pretty good idea after dancing most of the night.

Derby Style

Today I'm wearing my favorite floppy hat and horse-bit sandals and wishing I was at the Kentucky Derby. Anyone else with me? I always love seeing all of the pictures of everyone in their hats and dresses and bow ties at the races each year. Since the weather has been warming up, I brought out this bright white dress (also seen here and here) with an over the top bow that seemed perfect for the occasion. I'll be rooting for Carpe Diem as I'm getting ready to head off to prom today. Who's your pick for this year's race?

Scoops & Scallops

Today I'm teaming up with my blogger buddy, Meg who blogs over at A Sunny State of Mind to share our favorite spring dresses. This scalloped dress is one that I have constantly been wearing to school as the weather gets warmer because it is so comfy and versatile (and it's navy, of course).
